A heavy collage piece: rust, burnt orange and deep brown fields under crackled plaster, cast metallic gold florals standing proud of the surface, a black grid panel, and two bright red bars cutting vertically through it. Fragments of stenciled letters are worked into the composition.
Genuinely sculptural — it throws its own shadows, so it wants a wall with some light raking across it.
Dimensions: Approx. 47" x 47"
Details: Mixed media on canvas, cast metal appliqués, gold leaf, crackle plaster, gallery-wrapped, unframed
Condition: Pre-owned, good. Raised elements are intact and nothing is broken. Signed in the lower right.
