White 12 oz. Sublimatable Polar Camel Stemless Wine Tumbler with Lid
12 oz. Stainless Steel Polar Camel Stemless Wine Glasses feature double-wall, vacuum insulation with a clear lid. They are 2X heat and cold resistant compared to glass or plastic wine glasses. Polar Camels are made from 18/8 gauge stainless steel (18% chromium/8% nickel) - also know as Type 304 Food Grade.

POLAR CAMEL STEMLESS WINE GLASS SUBLIMATION - CONVECTION OVEN
There are a few important things to know about the Polar Camel Wine glass
before you sublimate. First the glasses are similar to all other sublimated
products in that the transfer and drinkware surface need to make direct
contact and reach about 400 degrees before sublimation will occur.
Secondly the Polar Camel needs to have a poly-coating in order to accept the
sublimation ink. Optimal image quality will be achieved using Polar Camels
specifically designed for sublimation.
METHOD 1 - IN A CONVECTION OVEN (with Shrink Wrap):
Note: Because not all ovens are created equally the dwell time in an oven can
range from 3.5 to 4.5 minutes. Convection oven is recommended. Settings will
vary depending on the oven brand and model ink and paper and atmospheric
conditions.
2nd Note: Be sure that the artwork does not go beyond the size limits of the
wrap.
Supplies needed:
- sublimatable substrate (polar camel wine glass)
- sublimation transfer
- shrink wrap
- heat gun
- heat tape
- convection oven
Oven settings:
- temperature - 375-380 degrees F
- dwell time - 3.5 to 4.5 minutes
STEPS:
1. Position transfer onto the substrate using heat tape to secure the transfer
to the substrate.
2. Place Polar Camel and transfer into shrink wrap cylinder.
4. Using the heat gun carefully direct hot air onto the shrink wrap until
tight around the Polar Camel and transfer.
5. Place Polar Camel in oven with recommended settings listed above.
6. Pull from oven and remove wrap and paper. Caution contents will be hot
use heat resistant gloves for safety.
Tips:
- If the image of the final product appears light increase the pressure or
the dwell time slightly (30-45 seconds).
- If the image on the final product appears blurred or substrate appears
yellowed or has brown spots reduce the dwell time slightly (30-45 seconds).
