Lasering the Fabric 1. Focus right on the leatherette.

Settings for Black: 455/12/225(S/P/LPI)
Clean up: 1. Cleaning should not be necessary with leatherette products. However if it is use a small amount of LA Awesome on a microfiber towel
Tips: - Testing for correct marking position laser on a test piece or tape a clear piece of plastic on laser image to see if it is centered correctly - Vector cut mask or plastic for placement guides

This is by far my favorite material to etch. It doesn’t really smell or create mess. It can give incredible detail. It sticks to microfiber cloths like a felt board would.
You can crumple it in your hand and it lays flat again. It doesn’t tear or stretch. So it’s a great option to give autistic family member family photos.
I’ve given them out as coloring sheets for kids. Water color and washable marker washes out under water or the washing machine. I’ve done a large batch of mini patches in the washing machine in a bra bag. I sell the mini patches with mini frames from Micheal’s.
The material is similar to headliner, so it will only adhesive on a scuffed up surface using 3m super 77 spray. I did that for a Pokemon card themed briefcase.
