Mars is a martian-like mica as its underlying color is a rich maroon color with an immediate green shimmer. Different light sources and intensities vary the maroon hue from a bright red to a rich purple. Thin applications over a dark surface results in a bluish/purple/green hue while over a white surface you will see variations of maroon/red/yellow. Compacting this mica allows for the shimmering green particle appearance to strengthen. There is a lot of color and dimension to this mica.
